these
made to order neckties are among my favorite etsy finds.
fieldguided is a lovely shop with handmade ties for the man in your life. what i love most is the secret embroidery on the backside of each
one of a kind tie. anabela will stitch the name (or pet name) of your sweetie into the winning tie. {and for those of you without a love interest, i'm sure every dad would delight in a valentine from his
favorite daughter.}
if you'd like to enter to win a red
plaid sweetheart necktie, leave me a comment on this post by thursday, january 29th. i'll announce the winner on friday, january 30th. thank you,
anabela!

ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Count me in!
ReplyDeleteanabela's ties are gorgeous
ReplyDeletei would love to win one for my sweetheart of a husband
Being a tall woman with a tall husband, I frequently have to modify my husband's ties to make them longer. It's kind of fun to feel like a domestic goddess every time I sew ties.
ReplyDeleteHe's in law school, so we cannot necessarily afford lots of expensive "tall" ties. I would absolutely love to give him this tie, and I know he'd be proud to wear it for a presentation, court appearance, or argument.
I have absolutely fallen in love with your site! Thanks for all of the great ideas! :)
this would be SO cute for my husband...especially for those long business trips, he could have a valentine everyday!
ReplyDeleteoh my, that red plaid tie is lovely! (can ties be lovely??)
ReplyDeletemen need lovelies too ...
This is so perfect! I have been wanting to sew up a tie for my valentine this year, but these are way cuter! I love the embroidered label on the inside, it makes them so much more special.
ReplyDeleteOh! Pick me, pick me! Great looking tie + a great looking husband = count me in! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for a red tie for the hubs, but none have made my heart sing like this one did.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this tie! The embroidery on the back is too cute!
ReplyDeletethese are the greatest ties I've ever seen...i'm married to a great guy who works from home so he doesn't get gussied up very often, but we do have a few weddings coming up... ;-)
ReplyDeletexo, jenny :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! How I'd love to win this one.
ReplyDeleteoh i love the gingham! the stitched name is the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeletemy (husband's) would say "sweetness" on it. that or a thousand other names.
ReplyDeleteLOVE those. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win one for my valentine. ;)
When I met my husband, plaid (on flannel, especially) was his trademark. He'd even pair one plaid tie with a totally different plaid shirt to wear to church (not knowing they didn't look good together). He would love this tie! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletei've been debating buying one of these ties for awhile now. they are so perfect!
ReplyDeleteIlove you blog and I really hope I win this tie. Thanks
ReplyDeleteMy husband wore the same plaid tie everyday for a year on his mission. By the end it was held together with duct tape. I think it's about time (10 years later) that the man gets a new plaid tie!
ReplyDeletei love these (along with everyone else). such a great gift!
ReplyDeleteI really do love your site. My husband would like the tie, and it would be fun to give it to him for Valentine's Day. We met on Valentine's Day, 8 years ago!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. The stitched tag is so sweet. Usually the ties I pick out for my guy are a little flashier, and he's not always on board. But this is just perfect and traditional enough for him :)
ReplyDeleteMy sweet little seven year old son is growing out of the baby ties and moving into big ties...how groovy are these!
ReplyDeletewhat a great find! this would be perfect for Valentine's day!!
