as you well know, i have a major sweet tooth. i might even say sweet teeth. which is why i so enjoyed reading this article about yet another darling sweet shop in new york, a bakery in brooklyn called baked. mmmm.

i love it when fancy famous bakeries give out their recipes.
baked spicy brownies
red hot velvet cupcakes
double chocolate loaf
strawberry whoopie pies
i think the strawberry whoopie pies sound delicsh. i might whip up a batch someday. if not just for the opportunity to answer a phone call and say, oh... just baking whoopie.
Wow, this is now two days in a row you seem to be posting my exact thoughts. I just read this article today and my mouth wouldn't stop watering. Let's be friends.
ReplyDeletei also have the same problem! i love sweets more than i should. those look delicious, definitely my first stop if i'm ever in brooklyn!
ReplyDeleteI love Baked. The storefront in Brooklyn is so cozy! I had a salted caramel cupcake from them months ago, and I still think about it.
ReplyDeleteI just bought Baked's cookbook a few weeks ago and can hardly wait to try something out!

ReplyDeleteTheir cookbook is great too. Just made their smores nut bars. And they are easy and fabulous!

ReplyDeleteI know I've said it before, but I just LOVE your blog. (Even when you're not posting devine chocolate recipes.)
ReplyDeleteI've had their new cookbook checked out from the library for the last month and have tried 3 or 4 recipes. So yummy! I made their regular brownies (not spiced) and am convinced it is the best brownie recipe ever. I'm working on a review of the book for my blog right now.
