however, it was the word skiwampus that jumped out of this post ot me. i never heard it before & it is such fun, so i looked it up immediately... :)
oh that's just gorgeous - i already know where i would put it up!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that poster brought some nostalgia. The older woman who cared for me and my sister when we were children and my parents were working would wake us up from our naps singing that song-- "Let the sun shine in, face it with a grin, open up your heart and let the sun shine in!" -- We actually have tapes of my sister and I singing it. Sigh, yes, I want to hang this in my home.
ReplyDeleteso lovely. great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSince every cell in my body is screaming that phrase, I definitely want in on the drawing (or the buying). Plus, the blinds are too cute.

ReplyDeleteOh cool! What a happy poster, I desperately need something reminiscient of those sunny spring days here in gloomy Michigan ... of course my husband, who's not a fan of posters, wouldn't be too happy. He prefers to only have original local artwork on our walls. But a bright little piece of sunshine is totally worth the fight.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this poster. i posted about it earlier in the week, in fact! it would definitely help remedy the dreariness i've been feeling lately. :)
ReplyDeletecheers,
Kelly
