mini clipboards for may

to greet the month of may properly,
i am posting a favorite craft idea.
go mod podge go.
{a thorough tutorial & template pdf. file is available in the shop.}

caution. mod podging is extremely addictive. you'll want to whip one up for every mama you know. and you should. because clipboards aren't just for middle school gym teachers anymore. my crafty niece gave me one for christmas years ago and i've loved it ever since. she is my crafting guru. she makes the best christmas gifts. they are always unexpected and handmade with love. one year she gave us all clipboards, another time it was fleece scarves, then pop bottle magnets, she never quits. and she's only 13. if she can do it, so can you.

have fun. go wild.
mod podge heaven.

  20. Mart,
    I just made one of these last month. I made also painted chalk board paint on the opposite side so it can be used on both sides. It sites upright in my kitchen and instead of paper I clip my recipes in it. Your paper is sooo cute!

  24. My last modpodge project was kind of sticky. I didn't put a lot on, is supposed to feel a little tacky after it's dried?

  25. so cute! you are truly an inspiration.

    I made a mini mod-podge clipboard with this cute grade school writing paper (you know, the kind you practice your penmanship with)style scrapbook paper... then, this is the best part, I cut out a transparency sheet (pilfered from my work's supply closet)to fit on the clipboard as well. if you use dry erase markers on it it's like a little DIY whiteboard, but much much cuter. perfect for taking notes + messages. (and you don't have to waste any sticky notes or papers!)
