mama's got a cheap new bag

a few weeks ago i found myself in one of my favorite stores. i was hurrying from rack to rack, browsing at rapid speed, before benji could give me the okay mom, i'm totally done with running errands speech. thankfully we were out the door and in the car in nine minutes flat.


i love when ten dollars spent feverishly at tj maxx ends up being well spent. i'll be the first to admit, this bag is nothing fancy and may only last a season or so but its fantastically deep pockets are completely saving my life. i love to shove benji's shoes, hat, almost-late library books, a water bottle and treats inside it as i'm running out the door. i feel a touch like mary poppins as i am unloading it at the end of the day (which is a must-do task to keep a mama sane).

in fact, am packing it as we speak. am off on a little autumn adventure with my bag and my boys. am super excited because we are meeting up with my parents. here's a hint on our roadtrip destination, my weekend will involve sheep. are you intrigued?! more details next week. have a good one.
