  26. What a cute plate! Growing up in my house meant leaving a plate of fruit loop cookies with a big glass of pepsi for Santa. I always felt cooler than all of the other kids becuase we were leaving Santa what he REALLY wanted!

    Santa prefers chocolate chippers for sure & an orange for Santa's reindeer.
    Jac once carved an initial in the oranges in his fruit bowl before Christmas eve - only to find the same orange in his stocking the next morning! Talk about devastation! Watch out kids are sneaky.

  36. At our house Santa gets hot chocalate (made with warm milk and choc. chips!) and whatever cookie we've decided to make that year. Sometimes sugar, sometimes peppermint chocolate chip. MMMmgood, Santa's getting hungry just thinking about it. :)

  45. well my baby is having 1st xmas and is only 9 months... so not starting anything this year:) but when i was a kid, our santa loved our homemade tricked-out with every icing/candy we could get our hands on... and a pepsi;)

    In our household Santa prefers egg nog mixed with sprite and pecan tassies. Sometimes peanut butter blossoms end up on the cookie for Mrs. Santa! :)

    Love, love love this artist! Have a candle pot of hers and have given several coffee mugs as gifts! Santa prefers plain jane traditonal frosting embellished sugar cookies and milk. His reindeer get a little more fanciful with their reindeer food (a little different each year, but always a base of oats, chocolate chips and lots and lots of glitter)!

  78. My sister and I got boxes of chocolates on Christmas Eve from a dear family friend, and we'd leave Santa the noughat ones we didn't like! My mom was always saying, Santa likes caramel, but we'd counter her and leave Santa the noughat, which wasn't Mom's favorite either!

  87. Santa appreciates Italian-American homes. He loves the plate featuring a couple of slices of crunchy Italian bread with sweet butter and a little prosciutto as well as a few pizzelles. He follows it up with a nice hot cup of dark roast coffee left for him in the thermos. Ciao!

    Usually it's just cookies and milk in our household. Today, however, I was watching my nephew, and he said, "Auntie, do you have the recipe for Kraft macaroni and cheese?" When I answered yes (a box in my pantry!), he continued, "Can we leave that for Santa this year?"

    If his parents won't do it, I certainly will!

  106. When Santa enters my warm house he will smell the scent of evergreen candles with Christmas music playing in the background. There will be warm, homemade, frosted cinnamon rolls & cold milk waiting for him. And of course for the reindeer instead of boring carrots I'll give them some flavorful cereal.

    first off what an adorable or original plate..i love having unique items like this..i would pass this plate down to my daughter for her kids, eventually!

    we put out peanut butter cookis and rice krispie treats for Santa with hot cocoa with marshmellows! and for the reindeer we leave out some of our dogs biscuits and apples! :)
