  1. oh, I LOVE it! I have so many 'favorite' books, but the one that first came to mind was A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. Have you read it??

  2. So adorable... perfect for my little boys room! Favorite Book is tough... I'll go with children's book. Dr. Seuss's ABC Book. My mom claims that she read it to me so much that when I was 16 months I had it memorized and could recite it with her. Crazy.

  3. Picking a favorite book is like picking a favorite flower, color, or chocolate...I love SO many. One of my all-time favorites, though, that I read as a pre-teen, was The Giver. I still love this book & read it from time to time.

Thanks for hosting all these giveaways & featuring such sweet products. I've enjoyed looking at these shops...

  23. Lots of fave books on my list, but right now, at Christmas, I've documented in my December Daily that the story "The Three Trees" is my favorite. I truly cannot read it for bedtime stories to my kiddos without crying. It is so beautiful, hopeful and affirming. I gave it to my now 18-yr old when he was 9, so we've had it a while, and I've shed some tears...but it's all good.

  24. I loved those old story books from Disney which came with a small vinyl disc. My siblings and I would play that on our player, listened to the story with its sound effects, and when "Tinkerbell rings her little bell, like this , turn the page". The best book has to be The Fox and the Hound - the story of true friendship. So heart-warming and heart-wrenching. And recently I saw the film again on TV, and the story pained me. Such is life.

I guess right now one of my favorite book is Peony in Love by Lisa See, although an all-time favorite book is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand or else Attitudes of Gratitude.

  49. Oh gosh, I'm kind of like Hannah in that whatever I'm reading is my new favorite (even if is a completely cheesy romance novel). There was one book that really stayed with me, although I don't remember the title - it was something like Stones from the River, I think and it was about a dwarf lady in Germany. Premise sounded so strange but I loved that book. Thanks, Maureen (jnomaxx at hotmail dot com)

  50. The Count of Monte Cristo - the best ever.

  51. My favorite book of all time is Richard Scary's The Gingerbread Man. My mother read it to me for the first time when I was 2. I was so concerned for the Little Old Woman who had "sat down to rest" after chasing the little devious cookie, that I wouldnt let my mom turn the page. Unable to explain why, I just sat there sobbing uncontrollably. Somehow my mother must have figured out why, because she had my dad distract me while she drew a happier expression on the Little Old Woman's face. When she brought the book back to me, I stared at the old woman for a bit, wiped my tears, then allowed my mother to finish reading the book. There is something about that exact book with the added illustrative touches from my mother that makes it priceless to me.

  69. I've had several books that I've considered to be my favorite, just depending on the phase of life I was in. I can't think of what my current favorite is, so I will go with the classic that I will always and forever love: the Outsiders.
