I loved what Conan had to say at the end of his show. And this line was especially wonderful. Made me think about how I can live this idea out in my own life.
I printed out the last section of his speech and I'm going to put it at my desk at work and at home. I think it is so true. I want my girls to understand what kindness can do.
I linked to Stephanie's blog and sat at my crafting desk and absolutely cried. Food for thought...and because of reading her blog, saying goodbye to my husband on the phone today, and saying "I Love You" as always, I stopped and said, "Sweetie...I love you." in a sweet, endearing, loving way, not just as a passing thought as sometimes happens as we hurry to get on to the next task at hand. Enjoyed reading all her comments, too. Thanks to both of you for sharing.
Awesome. I was just about to print that out for my cork board. Great quote from a great guy.
