That's easy -- tomatoes are the best. I love them any and every way, as long as they aren't the nasty things you buy in the supermarket in winter. The tomato season at the farms near me is heaven.
ReplyDeleteI adore the calendar tea towel. It reminds me of my great-grandmother who always had one hanging in her kitchen when I was a kid.
hmmm, it really depends. it has to be fresh and local. So maybe I would say mango or pineapple, because then I would be in a warm, tropical island paradise!
ReplyDeleteI have loved these prints. I wanted one last year but they sold out!
I would have to say fresh, vine ripe tomatos...rubbed with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt..then tossed on the grill! Perfection, sweet perfection!!

ReplyDelete*brussels sprouts* cut in half and cooked face down in some olive oil and salt on med-high heat until caramel-brown on the bottom and tender in the middle. You have to eat them w/in about 10 minutes for the flavor to stay perfect.

ReplyDeleteI love so many vegs: bok coy and brocolli in the winter - steamed or sauted with a little tamari. Blueberries in the summer with everything. Oh and apples, just plain or with a side of cheese. And salad, need my plate of leafy greens with just a little tomato and cucumber and salt and vinegar/oil dressing.
My fave vegetable is Eggplant and I love it any way you can serve it---but I eat it most grilled with salt, olive oil and a sprinkle of balsamic!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, it's so hard to pick a favorite, but I have to say I've never met a raspberry I didn't like :) As for preparation, I'd pick nice and fresh the way nature made them, but any number of preparations would make me happy! Love the print.
