the winner is teri who comments, The Rolfing sisters. My 5th grade home room and reading teachers. They are what teachers are supposed to be. Not the flash of the Hollywood movies teachers (Stand and Deliver, Dead Poets Society, etc) but a good solid love of their students and love of teaching. They are both gone now and I so regret I never told them thank you.

I'd like to thank my oldest daughter, who I count on way too much, is an awesome big sister to her siblings, who always smiles and never lets me down, and who I am watching to grow into a beautiful young lady.

ReplyDeleteMy in-laws- they have been way too kind, thoughtful and supportive as my husband and I moved back to Vancouver from being international. We couldn't have done this so smoothly without their love and support.

For letting me have this time to rediscover myself, even though its the worst time to do this - financially speaking. Also my parents for helping me with househould projects like clearing out an entire basement full of the previous owners' junk.

My supervisor advocated for me to get a raise. I have no idea how to thank her in the fashion she deserves. These cards would be a nice start, though.

ReplyDeleteMy grandpa is in ICU right now with no idea of the world around him. He's beyond that now and we expect he'll pass any second. So whom I want to send a thank you card is to my grandma who is sitting by his side, holding the hand of the man she's been married to since she was fifteen years old and he twenty-five. My aunt says my grandma does not notice visitors as she just stares at him, waiting and watching.
