happy black friday. i hope your thanksgiving was incredibly memorable and happy (and delicious!). perhaps some of you are out and about shopping up a storm or maybe staying inside and hauling out the holly to decorate your holiday home! we're still on the road and will be back next week. enjoy those leftovers! i must say i am loving the christmas tunes on A Family Christmas (Putumayo Presents). it is a cheery collection of new-to-me renditions of ol' favorites. more favorite holiday mix picks here. i'm always looking for new holiday tunes, so do tell me what's playing on your ipod.
I've just discovered your blog and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI also love all the Christmas inspiration, everything is so pretty!
Love,

Very cute. Only it made me house-sick. My apartment does not have stairs, a mantel or a big enough bookshelf :)
ReplyDeleteBut I think I might be able to use some of those inspirations elsewhere.
I am loving all of the holiday inspiration!!! Some of my favorite Christmas albums are (I'm a bit of a holiday music addict): Kenny G Wishes, Barlow Girl Home for Christmas, Kristin Chenoweth A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas, and The hotel Cafe presents Winter Songs :-)
ReplyDelete*sigh* Christmas is coming!!

Thanks for your holiday mix picks! I'm just putting together a soundtrack for this season, myself. You may like Susan Boyle's remake of Neil Finn's, Don't Dream it's Over. It's on her new holiday album, The Gift. I never thought of it as a holiday song, but her remake is fabulous.
ReplyDeletehave you heard kt tunstall's "Mele Kalikimaka"? definitely a favourite holiday song for me...and joni mitchell's "River" always gives me tingles too. loving your festive inspirations marta! x
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the holiday inspiration. My all time favorite Christmas album is Martin Sexton's Camp Holiday. He does all of my favorite Christmas tunes in such a unique and fun way.
ReplyDeleteHappy decorating!
Once again you have given me another starred post full of inspiration! Those mittens are just too cute for words.
