big brother benji was right all along.
boy oh boy. this is going to be fun.
we're still smiling about the surprising news.
it's so good to know–tuck away the baby girl clothes–and dream of a house full of boys. my friend kimberly (a mom of two boys) texted me a happy message after hearing our news: words of wisdom: embrace the loudness. you can't fight it. ha! i love it. i've already unboxed a few newborn favorites from storage. can't believe how tiny babies come! we had a girl name all picked out, now onto making lists of boy names. oh, the possibilities are endless. we're delighted.
in other news // wishing you a wonderful weekend; we're headed to another birthday party (i get to frost another cake!), cheer dan on in a ski race, read hunger games real fast and celebrate getting over a week of sickness. and think about another baby boy.

I was thinking about you this morning wondering if you had news yet on your babe on the way. Hooray for baby boys! It's always special no matter the gender, but there is something about my boys that always turns me to mush. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteOh Marta! I was so sad when I found out my last little guy was another boy. I was so hoping for a sister for Sammie. But Buster is the absolute joy of my life. I know you aren't disappointed..but you did say you had a girl name picked out and it is hard to find out it isn't the gender you were expecting. Your little boys will be best friends...I am so happy for you!!!

ReplyDeletewe just found out our next will be a girl. i was sort of hoping for another boy (there's just something about a little boy that just plucks at my heartstrings). not to mention that we've got a plethora of boy clothing/shoes/etc. right at hand.
ah well, i am getting ready to welcome the girly hand-me-downs from my adorable nieces and dreaming of ponytails and white tights with dirt-stained knees.

I really don't know how I found you but my attention was taken when I saw that you are having another boy. I am the mother of two boys and it is a lot of fun. I considered myself quite girly but now am more and more into boy things than ever. It is really loud and lots of fun.
