Ok, I want to know who has soooo many latte bowls? That's almost unbelieveable!

the unbelievable collection sits in whit's closet, awaiting a kitchen to dwell. once she saw them at anthropolgie, she fell for them (and who didn't?!) and has been collecting them ever since (in every shade). she inevitably receives them for every occasion!! she had no idea how many she had, so we unwrapped & counted. 24 in all. wow. this calls for a serious soup night.

I loved this post, Marta. You never fail to amaze me.

Does Whit have any mini latte bowls? I think they're cute, and surprisingly handy. It's like the new, cuter ramikan.

I, for one, think it's a d*#@ shame that Marta continually neglects Roy, the stray that lives outside our house. (Actually, we don't know if he's a stray. We simply have never seen anyone else care for him.) I, on the other hand, like to save scraps of meat from our meals to feed him. Even though I can't stand cats, I somehow have a soft spot them when the seem so needy. When we lived in the OC there was a cat that we named Mel who would always run up the stairs to our door and beg for food. So I started to give him milk. Then she (we found out it was a female) had a litter. Sadly, only one survived. We named it Max. When we came home from school or work, the two of them, mom and Max, would bound up our stairs for milk.

P.S. Next time I'll write about the big spider that lived on our deck in Fountain Valley. We named him Glen.
