I'm so intimidated. I don't know if I'm mellow enough to be included in this creative company! I'll try!

I'm so sad to miss the swap this time around but will be traveling so the timing didn't work out. I know it will be a great success and can't wait until the next one. I'm in for sure!

Marta -

I guess I missed the sign up deadline. I'm sure that all of your swappers are sad that they won't' get me as a partner. To help assuage the collective grief, I'll give you all the details on what would have been my contributions to the mellow + yellow swap.

I would have chosen black for my theme color. My first item would have been Spinal Tapp’s black album. In the words of Nigel Tufnel “How much more black could it be? The answer is none. None more black.” My second item: electrician’s tape. It’s sleek, stylishly understated, and practical (and I have it on hand). Finally, my third item would have been the “Burro Negro” (or black burrito) from the taco stand at 800 S. and Main St. (The name is appropriate because it is chock full of black beans and carne asada.) I’m sure it would have done fine in the mail. Especially to you girls in New Zealand!

To the person who missed out on being my swap partner, I’m sorry. You’ll have to wait for next time.

hi Marta! I'm so excited about the swap. I've got my items in mind, and can't wait to put them all together for a colorful burst of cuteness.
btw, I just read Dan's comment above, how funny. I love the electrician tape idea, it's so stylish! ;)
