dear diary
this week,
i love the smell of: mom's perfume. while we sat for a chat in the car (for a lovely extended length of time) mom gave some sound advice for my often-frazzled schedule. in short: do what you want to do, don't do what you don't want to do. thanks, sometimes a girl needs a good reminder.
i love the sound of: lane reading her writings. i have decided the word enchanting fits her most.
i love the taste of: sherrie's homemade lime sherbet. whit's freshly tossed authentic greek salad. davanza's supreme pizza. porcupine's house salad & fish n' chips (melt in your mouth halibut). cucina deli's pasta salad (best surprise date ever). boston deli's (best in the state) cobb salad. shanna's mixed greens with mint bridal shower salad. cafe terigo's chocolate creme brulee. it has been a gourmet week for my tastebuds.
i love the sight of: dan coming home from a big bike ride. his hair gets all crazy and he inevitably tackles me with a big sweaty hug. i holler in protest, but am thankful for these small blissful moments which i hope never cease.
i love the feel of: friendship. whit's home from her hiatus abroad (hooray). sisters wrap arms around each other, picking up where they left off. the classic group is together again for end-of-summer wedding celebrations. not to mention so many wonderful emails signing up for the new swap. if i were a doctor treating patients suffering from sadness, i'd prescribe them to start la blogging. i'd even jot it down on a notepad in rapid cursive.

I love Cafe' Terigo. I especially love their bread pudding with homeade cinnamon ice cream. Divine.
G-Money used to work at Cafe Terigo, and all he talks about is their desserts. Especially that bread pudding.
What a lovely week you've had Marta. Cheers to happy happy times!
Chocolate creme brulee? Oh...that sounds like heaven.
Thanks Min! It's so fun to spend time, on and off line, with you!
What perfume does your mom wear?
mom wears Shalimar, Diva or Chanel.
that's such a lovely list!
Everything you say sounds like a poem coming out of your mouth. The way you see life and live it is an inspiration..even to an old aunt. I love you, you made me cry today, but in a good way.
love this list.
love your way with words.
