dear diary
this week,
i love the smell of: fancy yellow flowers in square vases on pretty tables.
i love the sound of: the beginning of a song, recognizing it as one you love and dancing under the moon until your hair falls out of it's coif. especially when it's a song like 'Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch' (which i sing to dan every morning, with my own made up words of course.)
i love the taste of: black licorice caramels. where oh where can i buy these babies in bulk? i put them in a wee little bowl next to my favorite photo of my grandpa. how fitting, i love the licorice taste because it reminds me of him.
i love the sight of: couples swaying to live music in the park. the sun slinking away on a summer's eve. a clean house. our silly stray cat, dan calls him roy, i like roxy better. i have a love hate relationship with that silly cat. stray cats love dan. they even sleep on the hood of his car. i suppose if i were locked out of the house of my one true love, i'd do that too.
i love the feel of: sunlight streaming through my kitchen window. having a window above my kitchen sink makes everything alright in the world.

Ooh, that purse is fab-o! *B
I've never tried the black licorice caramels.. I'll have to do that. :)
lovely post...and awesome handbag!
That's a lovely list for this week.
I love the colour of your bag! I agree a window over the kitchen sink is just perfect.
I happen to live just miles from Licorice International. They give free samples of every licorice you can imagine. While the caramels are great, I am in love with the black licorice toffees from Ireland. They ship all over...you might want to check it out.

Licorice reminds me of Jiggs, too. Black Jack gum, blue licorice ice cream, black jelly beans...
Beautiful post, great handbag!
I love your sweet little mini diaries and the simple prompts you include. How clever to write down all of the wonders that our senses experience!
My grandpa always had coffee nips and while none of the grandkids are coffee people, my siblings and I all have a weak spot when it comes to coffee nips. What great memories our senses store for us.
