happy birthday to my nearest + dearest brother pete. {i've worshipped him since day one. i suppose that's what big brothers are for.} here's to pete, a man of many talents; the definite go-to guru.

ten things i love about pete: 01. he is passionate about verdana. the font that is. 02. he creates rad websites and has been doing so for years now. 03. he recycles / bikes to work / and carpools to parties. he is saving the world bit by bit. 04. he makes one mean homemade burrito (i'm talking soaking the black beans, marinading the meat). 05. he wears (dwight schrute) computer glasses once in awhile. 06. he is a mac lover. and was from the beginning. 07. he is always genuine. no matter what, no matter what. 08. he is a bonafide car mechanic and has raised many a car from the dead. 09. he does what he loves. and is a success at it. 10. he is the very best kind of friend. people flock to him. and he to them. especially when they are stranded on the highway.. he will drop anything to come to the rescue.

pete, you are wise beyond your years. and we've been saying that since you turned twelve. {i even fell for always carrying your equipment. all because you had a special name for it.} i was, and always will be, the official 'grip': a sidekick sister.
