fortune tellers
this random fortunes idea is pure genius. exactly the idea i need to spread the goodness, spread the love. i would love to take salt lake city by storm with sweet secret slips of paper.
we took to the streets of downtown portland with many little paper fortunes in hand. we were hoping to leave them in a hundred different places, we were hoping all kinds of people would find them. and smile or laugh. or stop for a second and take a breath and look around. or something, anything. who knows how much of that actually happened. doesn't really matter. as it turns out, the act of doing was enough.
the original idea: guerilla art.
let it out. ooh what a way to start a new month.

I would love to find a fun little surprise like that. I might have to try making my own with my nieces.
Cool idea...maybe I will do this around my house!
i love that randomly, you can impact someone's day, and hopefully, make him/her smile.
Marta, I can totally see you doing something like this....especially with your delicious handwriting!
Thanks for the comment you left on my blog, by the way. I've been a loyal reader of your blog for a while now, so it made my day!
beautiful. what a wonderful idea.
this is wonderful marta. would be wonderful to start around campus, no?
I want to do this too! Once I found this lovely quote by Mother Teresa on the floor at church and it made my whole day... so I bet a few good wishes would certainly brighten someone else's.
Love, love, love this idea. Of course, I'd be tempted to slip in some Emily Dickinson lines, just to mess with people (in the best sense). Thanks for sharing it!
