thanks, ma.
my mom has a cute tradition of giving books to her grandchildren. she attaches stickers that say: For your collection, Love Oma & Opa. we were thrilled to receive our first book, straight from the shelf of a nyc bookshop.
Ma! There's Nothing To Do Here! is a funny storybook, perfect for a lady in waiting. it was written by barbara park who is widely known as the author of the series (i wish had been around when i was learning to read) Junie B. Jones.
we read this sweet story last night and laughed aloud.

Love your mom's tradition. My mom was a kindergarten teacher, so children's books are her thing. We get lots of books from her, but none with that cute little note. Building up your kid book library will be so much fun. I think I have more fun buying books for my kids now then I do for me... and that's really saying something.
As you know what this is like, I'm sure, I have had some very vivid and funny dreams as of late. My latest one was this woman who not only predicted the sex of my baby by putting a rolled up wash cloth around my neck and having it come to life she told me my baby was MISERABLE in my womb! Too funny. I'll have to get this book.
I imagine that Bruce is in there training for a trike trip.
what a great idea..that picture on the book is great..
My 7 yr. old daughter LOVES Junie B. Jones. She sort of reminds my of Ramona Quimby.
