the perfect party

flag day is my grandma june's birthday and to remember her, my cute cousins threw me my first ever baby shower on her special day. my best friend is my cousin whitney. i know she put so much effort and thought into making saturday the perfect party for me and my first li'l one. such sweet generosity took my breath away.

all the cousins, sisters, friends, aunts and nieces gathered under the veranda on polly's patio. with cold slushee lemonada in our cups and grins on our very alike faces, we chatted away as only ladies do. i was beyond thrilled to be queen for the day, surrounded by such beautiful company at a beautiful garden party. not only were there little touches on every table and lanterns hanging overhead, the lunch was delisch and the gifts were plentiful and amazing. i feel so blessed and grateful. merci. you outdid yourselves. i loved every bit of it.
