mad about moop

the big bad bag has arrived. and i am in love.

yes, i finally decided on a diaper bag after much extensive research. i wanted a fabulous bag that did not look like a diaper bag, is soft enough to use as a pillow on a train, squishy enough for smushing up when not in use, completely cool enough for dan to carry, deep enough for toting all that one could ever need, made of washable and lightweight - no fuss materials and made with serious quality long lasting toughness. and hip hooray i think i've found it. i adore a roomy spacious big bag because i tend to carry around a whole lot of excess baggage. luckily, i think benji's things will mingle well with all my nonsense in this fabulous market bag.

moop is known for their handmade goods. the materials they use are bomber, the colors and corduroy fibers are fantastic, the subtle design is simple and lovely, and their attention to detail outshines the rest. i could not be more pleased. thank you wendy.

be sure to check out moop's blog.
(i love keeping tabs on these creative types.)

i love moop's stuff... i first found her when she was featured on etsy and fell in love with her studio (what a space - no wonder she makes such gorgeous stuff!)

the more i hear about how fantastic her bags are, the closer i edge to buying one.

I also heart a large bag, and will keep this in mind for my time of a joyous blessing.

Those really are just perfect. Thanks for the link, always looking for diaper bags that aren't diaper bags.

I have been swooning after her bags for quite some time -- I might have to pick one up for a diaper bag too!

I will admit... I tried to recreate a Moop bag after seeing one. It didn't quite work. I broke down and bought one. They are pricey, but I LOVE my market bag. LOVE IT! It is an excellent choice.

i've used my moop as a school bag/purse for several months now. it's so worth the money, i love it! i wish they'd had it when my children were babes, it's perfect for a diaper bag.

Do you think the market bag would be a good missionary bag? Or is it too big? I really want to get one for my mission!

Thank you for the perfect recommendation! I just ordered one with an expandable strap to fit around for long walks and such.

I can't wait till it comes in. And by the way - I got a little teary-eyed at work this morning reading about "benji-bear". Congrats to the whole family...

Can you tell us what color you got your bag in? I love the neutral color, but am afraid of getting it dirty!
