am doing my homework.

am all fired up to start writing club 101. am doing some heavy reading to prepare, jotting lists for dozens of writing assignments and finding brilliant quotes from brilliant writers. if you want to write with me this monday, be sure to find a decent notebook. mine is pictured here, spiral bound with blank pages. i'm even making my own tabs with tiny post-its. how cheap is that. it's definitely not intimidating or fancy. no italian leather yet. am starting simple. am excited to share the great goodness i've read about. am admitting, i've done more reading than actual writing, but at least i am reading about writing and that's a step. that counts.

I see you checked out Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott. That is by far my favorite writing book!! Yay!! I'm excited to hear what you've got in store.

I love nothing more than a blank notebook. A 5 Star spiral does just fine :)

There is nothing greater than post-it notes for tabs. I do it all the time!

And I loved your post yesterday to your best friend Whit – it was also my birthday yesterday and could imagine my best friend and I planning a day similar to yours (with different foods though).
