postage stamp project
have recently spent afternoons scanning documents, photos and other rare items, namely these pretty postage stamps from Poland. my dad is writing another intricate family history. he has researched their very beginnings from the days of Napoleon and the great Hapsburg Empire. the backdrop of this rich volume follows the family through Vienna, Prague and the ancient Polish capitol of Krakow. i am caught up in the love stories and the beautiful artifacts he has collected to help illustrate his book. i am always excited when i have a project to design that stretches my imagination (hope i can do this story justice).
as i was scanning these, they landed into place and looked so perfect. i had to snap a picture of the pretty Poland postage and then write a post, working in the alliteration, of course.

What a phenomenal project. Thanks for sharing!
i love stamps. especially international ones. my husband thinks i'm a bit nutty for ripping off the corners of envelopes and saving them. i have a little dish full of them next to my mail sorting bins.
will we get a sneak peek of your layouts?
sounds dreamy.
What a fabulous way to weave artifacts/graphic images into the family history! So glad you snapped the photo and shared the story...hopefully we will get to see more of the progress, pretty please?!

You know what they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I can see where your genuine love for this stuff comes from.
