no tricks. just treats.

just a few sweet ideas to help you get your spook on. if you need a cute halloween tag, visit my shop for a two dollar download. and yes, the nutter butter ghost cookies are to die for.

pssst. if you haven't already, pop in to design crush for a chance at winning a mini diary. these diaries will be the last batch of the year, so be sure to snatch one soon if you want to give them as stocking stuffers. i have a limited supply.

and to change the subject. i hope you had a fun weekend. we hung out here and took benji to a pumpkin patch. (it was magically good autumn weather, just your perfect sweater day with warm sunshine and swirling leaves.) bought the enormous bag of chocolate chips at costco. i also saved the sunday paper funnies. holiday prep is well on it's way. did some yoga. finally watched the wedding episode of the office. loved it. sunday night i baked white bread and itty bitty rolls. you've heard of dollar rolls, these were more like nickel rolls. pop in your mouth types. totally an experiment and totally delicsh. am looking forward to this week. am planning on major design productivity and block-stacking with the boy.

one last thing. don't forget to sign up for a lovely free note card to send to someone you love. visit linda + harriett for deets.

Sounds like your are well and truly prepared for Halloween. We still do not seem to get it right here in the UK and I certainly seem to miss out on it completely out here in the complete sticks in the countryside! No-one ventures down our drive at the best of times let alone on halloween!!
Brilliant post as always and a few new blogs for me to follow - thanks.

marta, you would not believe how often i think of those cute nutter butter ghosts. ever since your post on them last year they pop in my head at random. it's really crazy. they just look so good!

mini loaves and sprinkles and covered pretzels, and the wedding episode and pumpkin patch and tiny nickel rolls.. so many good things wrapped up in this post! thanks for your weekend recaps. they always remind me to spend my time doing things that matter.
