I think there are some famous people who were gorgeous like Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy. However, I adore my children's faces the most. Their eyes are bright with love and the cheeks are rosy from smiling.

My mothers. She is always smiling and even when she isn't she has this calm look on her face that puts me at ease. I find comfort in her visage.

Whose face do I adore? Of course all in my family; however, if I was only allowed to pick one I would chose my oldest son whose eyes are always laughing and smile always melts me.

I love looking at my mother's face in old photos.
Thank you

That would be my great grandmother.

The silhouette pillow is grand! My mom used to teach kindergarten and as a Christmas present for the parents she would do a silhouette of each child. Or I should say, she'd have me do a silhouette of each child. I'd sit in the storage closet with each child and quickly trace their little head shapes from the shadow of the overhead projector beam.

I did it before they got to know me. Sitting in a closet with some strange woman... they were as still as little statues! LOL Later on when they knew me, it would have been impossible to get them to not wiggle.

When I was in Russia in '94, I was at the overlook from the Moscow University that looks down on the Kremlin. Unknown to me, while I bargained with a street vendor, a man freehanded cut my silhouette. When he was finished he came over and offered it for sale. I jumped on it.

Price - about .50c!

How do you choose only one? As sweet as my children's faces are, I would choose my husband. I can just look at him and see all the wonderful things he says, does and provides (and he's sexy and has a great smile and eyes that twinkle) that I must choose him. He (nearly) always makes me smile.

Tough one- I adore, the many poeple in my everyday life with their wonderful character and kind actions. I am partial to my husband though, especially when he smiles, he gets these dimples I like.

This is absolutely precious. I love silhouettes, and a silhouette of the sweetest pup in the world would be so cute on there... which leads me to the face I adore (besides my husband of course). My silly, adorable rescue pup Gibson. He melts my heart every time we look at each other, I bet he'd melt yours, too.

katy said...

I love the sillouettes. My son of course, especially that first look of pure happiness when he sees me in the morning. I certainly don't look that cute when I wake up! Thanks Marta!

Oooh, I've had my eye on this pillow for a while! My 2 favorite faces are my chubby-cheeked kids (drool and all)! I actually used your silhouette tutorial for grandparents' christmas gifts this year with some handmade frames from etsy and pretty patterned paper in the background!

I LOVE that pillow! In my dreams I adore Chaning Tatum's face. ;) In reality I adore my Josh's fash and my 3 kids (equally as dreamy).

What a perfect pillow! I would love to win. :)

My two month old baby's face is one that I adore, obviously, but if we're talking famous then Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line or Rachel McAdams in The Notebook. Both gorgeous women and I love their styles in both movies!

Also, I'm sad that you don't have the card in your shop with the crossed out Rome, Mr. Darcy, Edward, and then the un-crossed 'You.' That is the cutest, most clever card ever.

Karen said...

Of course, I adore my daughter's face the most...could just smooch on it all day.!

I just read on a blog this morning that silhouettes are "so last year" - I almost fell out of my chair. I ADORE silhouettes!

Thanks for hosting this cool giveaway! Fingers crossed... :)

When I was seven weeks pregnant I had a dream where a baby was staring me in the face and made a kissy lips face and opened her mouth into an O. The night after my daughter was born, we were laying in bed and I opened my eyes to see that face.

So cliche but I love my kids' faces the most. There would probably be something wrong with me if I didn't say that. I love their dimples the most.

Em-Jae said...

beautiful pillows!

at the risk of sounding silly, I'm going to say that I really like my dog's face.
First, I have no children, so she is my baby girl.
Second, for a majority of my life I was extremely petrified of dogs (we're talking panic attacks, crying, the whole 9). So, for me to have her is such a personal accomplishment :)

Not to mention the whole unconditional love thing... That's pretty sweet too.
