the paper bride
i nominate this as the best library book of the month. one i keep renewing and renewing, not wanting to drop it the return bin and say our goodbyes. the paper bride by esther k. smith. its pages are loaded with vintage ephemera, happy crafting tutorials and loads of lengthy descriptions on everything paper. (and i promise, this book is not just for brides.) i appreciate the spread on handcrafting paper flowers, pop out maps and the details on the differences between printing options; something every paper/print lover should be aware of.
and of course, everything about this book reminds me of my dear blogging crafty darling friend, miss elise. who soon will be mrs. elise. the excitement for her upcoming nuptials is contagious.

thank you friend! i have another pretty book to add to my list. xo.
I read Elise's blog too and the second I saw the picture of the book in this post I thought of her!
I just finished reading Esther Smiths book called, "How to Make Books." It was excellent as well.
I'm going to add this one to my list of to-reads.
What a great book! I'll have to check that one out. Thanks for the tip!

This books looks like a keeper.
That happens to me a lot when I get books at the library - I want to keep them forever. So I just end up buying them =)
i honestly never would have picked this book up! but, of course, now i want to get my hands on it. the library book i can't let go of currently is a book called "doodle stitching". amee ray? i think. great embroidery ideas.
That DOES look fun!
I can completely understand why you are holding onto it for yourself.
Sometimes, we all just have to do that! I wish it were available at my library!
Best,
Tara
