wedding envelopes
i recently wrapped up handwriting a batch of pretty green envelopes for a bride-to-be in california. this was my first officially big calligraphy gig. never knew how intimidating an envelope could be until now. this job reinforced my love for writing out a state's whole name in proper form. lucky for me, this bride and groom have friends spread throughout the country. i liked saying the mr. and mrs. names aloud as i looped the letters together.
i tested out a handful of white pens and found the ever popular Sakura Gelly Roll medium white pen suited the task perfectly. contact me directly for calligraphy inquiries.

i'm really intrigued by this... you mean people pay you to write out addresses? how can i get this gig? i love handwriting! and i love your calligraphy style. non-traditional. just perfect. what a fun way to earn some pennies!
They look like they are written in icing! Sweet!!!!
beautiful! how is your hand? I can only handle writing for so long before I want to chop my hand off. 4th grade history class was a killer for me because we had to copy everything off of the board onto our paper... the entire HOUR. :)
oh cool.
i'm completely envious of your slick pen and grand envelopes! i'm sure there will be lots more of these big gigs in the future. i mean, you are the calligraphy whiz. (we can all testify to this.)
They turned out GORGEOUS! I have total calligraphy envy!
They look beautiful! If I was having a wedding I'd hire you.
gorgeous.x

I love love love your handwriting!
Marta, I am an avid 19 year old reader and many (many) years from now when I get married, I hope you're still in the calligraphy business!
