favorites: sweet treats
favorites: the sweets stash
i can't believe i'm even approaching this topic, as it is so varied and vast. i will roll off a few favorites and undoubtedly think of more to add. i have a sweet tooth. which is why we rarely have treats in the house. however, i did laugh at myself the other night when i saw my reflection in the window (still in gym clothes) licking the hot fudge spoon clean. mint ice cream and hot fudge are true bliss and a rare treat. still, my favorite flavor hands down is peanut butter and chocolate from baskin robbins. and oh how i love chocolate chips in a ramekin. so simple; it feels practically wholesome. those we do have on hand, so it is the favorite dessert on the menu. dan freezes his ramekin and therefore is always enjoying his after mine are long gone.
i take my m&m's plain most often. and i will never say no to a gummy bear, a cinnamon bear or a sour patch kid. i even like those individually wrapped red hot fire balls because they remind me of being seven. charleston chews and toblerone bars because they are family favorites. jr. mints and popcorn. cookies and milk. trail mix with gum drops. and when we run into a gas station while on the road, i will usually grab a whatchamacallit for him and a fifth avenue for me.

Chocolate Covered Gummy Bears.
My current fav: Dark chocolate Acai with blueberry... ask me again next week. ☺
i don't have a sweet tooth, i have sweet teeth! i love anything caramel.
Luckily for me, my favorite is an English candy bar called Topic. I can't get them here so my hips are happy about that. A Ritter Sport with Hazlenuts is my go to and if I'm desperate, peanut M&M's!
Hands down my absolute favourite sweet treats are Cadburys Buttons - plain, simple goodness!
xx
love peanut butter and chocolate! it's the best! right now i'm loving the chocolate and sea salt almonds from trader joe's.
This is like asking me who my favorite child is--how can I pick just one? I would say my favorite of the moment is chocolate covered cinnamon bears. But the old stand-by is a bag of Oreos. If I'm dashing into the Sev for a diet coke, I always grab a chocolate on chocolate donut to wash it down...I don't know why I'm not losing any weight...
Jelly Babies. I won't have them for months at a time but I love rediscovering how much I love them!
Reese's Pieces. Hubby and I both love them so much they were the favours at our wedding :) Didn't hurt that it was a fall wedding too, so the colours were perfect!
ever since i had kids, I have developed a "thing" for chocolate. I remember 12 hours after labour thinking ... give me chocolate now! Anyway, some dark chocolate with some fruits or nuts or both usually find their way to my bedside table now.
Your list is making my mouth water! A blizzard with reece's peanut butter cups AND snickers- it's to die for...chocolate peanutbuttery and crunchy! I think sour patch kids will make it into my basket at the store today.
3 Musketeers, fudge, homemade chocolate chip cookies. And cream cheese frosting!
Always chocolate. Always.
A frozen cookie or ice cream are the top of my list.
Favorite candy bar, bar none: Milky Way Midnight
Favorite movie treats (home or theatre): popcorn and Junior Mints.
I can't do any of the sour stuff - it hurts my jaw. I think I have ultra sensitive sour taste buds.
I'm enjoying dark chocolate covered pretzels from trader joes over breyers vanilla bean ice cream :)
anything involving chocolate that does not involve many nuts. peanut butter mixes in well, too. :)
The one and only Lindt chocolate - impossible to resist =) and chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and ... fresh strawberries - do they count as a sweet treat?
Almond Joys are my all time favorite candy bars. I'll even choose one over a Snickers. And Snickers are pretty dang good.
Bit-o-honey's... yummm!
ha! i'm with brooke ... a choc on choc donut (with a diet coke, please).
