custom built designs + spring break deets

i picked up a few things at the print shop today and remembered how good it feels to see a design come to life. i am helping my dad with a big 25th Anniversary event! it's coming together, bit by bit. really, someone should not be this giddy about printing up coordinating envelopes / invites / brochures / etc., but i am.

and logos galore lately. creative clients make my job so much fun.

i am thankful we have a little trip coming up. it's so good to have something to look forward to and shake up my schedule. am feeling a bit blah. do you ever feel this way? it will be nice to unplug, unwind, and see my sister (and the sunshine) again. i hope she's up for watching the final rose ceremony! what are your must-haves for spring break? any good march magazines on the rack? what do you love to do with your sisters? do you have a special airplane beverage? mine has always been gingerale.

Oh my goodness Marta. You are so very talented!! I am excited you get to go on such a fun break and even more excited that you will be able to see the sun again. Enjoy the time with your sister... sisters are the best. :)

Gingerale is my beverage of choice as well. The funny thing? I have only ever drank it on airplanes... I wouldn't even know what kind to buy if I wanted to at the store. Enjoy!

Love your designs, very pretty.

Yes, for gingerale, the one and only airplane beverage hands down =) And spending time with my sister is always the best. Little shopping, coffee shop stops, game time, watching movies or just chatting - nothing fancy but special in any way. Have fun with your sister and enjoy every single second with her.

Your designs are beautiful. So glad you get to go on a little trip for Spring break. What fun! Taking a little break from routine always brings me a more refreshed attitude too. I love visiting my family in Florida -- it's a nice changed from Missouri's chilly weather :)

Nice designs Marta! And yes, I do feel that way at times. Especially as a stay-at-home mom and I too, find it so refreshing to get out and about. On to your questions...
I hope he chooses Emily. Boy does she seem perfect. And she's only 24. For some reason it now seems a little disturbing but probably because of me and not her!
Spring break must-haves are sunshine, sparkling water, salty snacks, fresh fruit and family.
I always reach for "O" and InStyle and they never disappoint. I sometimes reach for Lucky and Elle Decor. A girl can never have too many mags on her nightstand.
My sister and I love to reminisce and just talk about life. Fortunately we can do that anywhere. Although mine is a lot younger so at the same time she's texting her bff's. Those multi-taskers!
Airplane Beverage... I always reach for a ginger ale too. It kind of has that cooling fizzy effect. Have a great time!

Oh the rose ceremony! I had to read spoilers after last week I was so excited. No worries. I won't spill.

I am a club soda airplane girl. And I munch very slowly on a bag of peanut m&ms on take off. It's a splurge to buy an US Weekly & Oprah.

Have fun with your sidekick & sister. Spring is right around the corner. Except in Mpls :( We're still drinking hot chocolate here!

Your question about sisters got me. I moved from PA to SoCal seven years ago, and since I've treasured trips to see (or be seen by) my sisters and, now, their kiddos. We love to talk over morning coffee, run together, explore and play with their kids and get more coffee.:) It's always so fun to just live life with them, especially since it happens so rarely.

Enjoy your break!
