rulers of the world ruler / favorite find for back-to-schoolers
anyone else stocking up on crayons and glue for the fun of it? i found a 24-pack of crayons for a quarter and went a little crayon crazy. i have big plans for those crayons. another happy find was this collection of rulers of the world rulers (be sure to browse the whole series) spotted in a darling local boutique, paisley pomegranate. perfectly priced for collecting. i imagine super straight lines and an awesome trivia game coming in our near future.

Secondly I love this time of year too and cannot resist a sign saying 'back to school' without taking a peek. It also brings back lines from one of my favourite movies - You've Got Mail and a 'bouquet of newly sharpened pencils'!
Oh I don't think I could contain myself with new crayons for only a quarter! What a lovely ruler.

Gaah! I must have one! {or two or three...}
I'm not quite ready for summer to end, but I adore the fall. When it comes, I will welcome it with open arms.
And as for Cassie's comment about the bouquet of newly sharpened pencils... she actually sent me that last year as I headed back to school {I'm an elementary teacher and fellow lover of You've Got Mail}... I was beyond excited!
