take two / pretty prints
On the Sea by Majali Design & Free Yourself by Alessandro Gottardo
i loved these thoughtful illustrations. such a reflective mood with pretty hues of blue.
p.s. at a family picnic yesterday, we watched the kiddos play in the sandbox, splash in the water and climb ladders up to slides. i heard the tale of my almost-eight year old niece mastering a flip off the high dive at her neighborhood pool! all on her own; no one egging her on. just a strong will, big determination and her shirley temple curls. she is a daring one and practices tasks until she gets them right. we were all in awe of her courage. way to go, lucy! i love it when little people inspire big people.

These prints are speaking to me. I love them both. The second one could be about lucy :)
Such gorgeous prints, I love them!
Love the prints. Deceptively simple yet elegant and thought provoking.
And about the little Shirley Temple inspiration...I am ALWAYS inspired by little ones.
