Happy Mother's Day, mom. you've done more for me than anyone else ever could. not only did you love me from day one, you've taught me the importance of being genuine, confident, and optimistic. you create a sunny spot where there is beauty in motherhood. i am happy you are my mom and my close friend. today i celebrate you and the legacy of love you have begun.

more tributes to my mom here, here & here.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you who have little ones, big ones, or future ones. relax, restore and feel like royalty. take in the bounty of compliments, heaven knows you've earned them!!! i picture you blogging mamas like my sisters, who seem to be Super Mommies. doing it all: raising kids, keeping house, running here & there & everywhere, making kids smile with special treats, getting involved in their lives, taking special outings, showing your children the world while maintaining a happy spirit... all this with your hair stylishly swept back and a beaming grin. you are changing lives. your influence is good. you inspire me.

cute photos...what is with pete's bob? Also, why are you wearing a nightgown to temple square? I guess no one felt like dressing you? Or was that a dress?!

Happy Mother's Day...

I wondered why you're in your nightgown, too! The doll coat was probably in the wash. Thanks so much for such loving, kind words. Being a mom to great kids is the best.

I loved all the pictures and loved seeing you all as little kids, who came to my house when Marty and I traded tending. I learned how to be a mother from Marty..she's still teaching me..
