pb & me
received this Pottery Barn evite in my inbox today. they host free workshops which always sound intriguing. especially this one (just look at that desk, ooh la la), how did they know i was giving my studio a makeover? i would love to go to this class and learn how to be a little more like my sister-in-law, christie. she has moved across the country twice in one year and has decorated deliciously each time. she is the essential Pottery Barn groupie and is giving us a peek into her space; so classy, so personalized, so refined, yet family friendly. and she takes simply stunning photographs (see below). pretty amazing.
christie, can you be my personal Decorator Dejour / Scrapbooker Extraordinaire / Life Coach? (i think we'll have to fly into NYC for our sessions.)
Pottery Barn's complimentary workshop is on august 19th. for more information, visit their website, sign up at the nearest location, go, learn, and then give me all the details!

wow, that sounds like such fun!! i am in a workspace transition too... i need some inspiration!
What a delightful post, Miss Marta. Though I have to say, I was really hoping that the PB stood for peanut butter!
You and Christie make such a great team! You ought to tour historic houses together....take the kids!
jamie, you bring up a good point. i should blog about my beloved peanut butter. you know i love it. with chocolate, with bananas, with graham crackers, with toast..
mmm. delicious.
I love how she's done those photographs. Beautiful! :)
Aw, M! This was such a fun surprise to turn on your famous site and see a little piece of me! Thanks, friend. Although, I have to say that you have far greater taste than me, and you inspire me to do more creatively. I need YOU for a lifecoach extraordinare. Either way, I think a trip to NYC is definitely in order.
ooh I love that white desk and shelves, so smart. That would be a great course to do.
Love the Pottery Barn, love Christie's picture of her room. Love your blog. Sorry about all the comments today. I forgot about your blog and I just found it again today.
