dear diary
i love the smell of: pinecones + hollyberry candles glowing
i love the sound of: little kids sounding out the words and reading stories aloud.
i love the taste of: dad's homemade turkey & rice soup. with a slice of hearty bread from the bakery down the way topped with blackberry jam.
i love the sight of: the first snowfall. it is unbelievably beautiful when it comes down in sheets (if you're home enjoying cocoa rather than being stuck on I-15). the sky sobs snowflakes.
i love the feel of: finishing a project. starting another one. preparing for holiday decorating festivities. getting my christmas shopping lists written. hoping for 'perfect gift' ideas. imagining their faces. the countdown begins tomorrow.

I love the sky sobbing. Such a poetic soul you are.
I was thinking the world looks very gray today. After reading your blog it feels cozy.
