one of my favorite gifts this holiday came from my thoughtful niece who modge podged this adorable just-the-right-size clipboard for me. it's girlie, it's fun, it's helpful, it's my new must have for '08. will keep you posted as i check off my to do's.

did your neice just use paper to modge podge the clip board?
clipboard tutorial: buy a small clipboard. buy 2 darling sheets of coordinating paperie. trace the clipboard on paper and cut out two shapes for front and back, being sure to cut well within the traced lines.
modge podge over and under the two sheets and stick one to each side of clipboard. allow a bit of board to show on edges. looks handmade yet laquered with love.

that clipboard is so up my alley. i am wanting to clean up and organize as well. my desk is a m-e-s-s.
similar goal for me: convert sewing/craft room that is always too messy to actually work in to a guest room with sewing/craft stuff neatly stored in a hand-me-down wardrobe.thanks for motivating me. wish me luck.
