sugar and spice and everything nice.
the cookie making party was sweet as sugar. my whole family smushed into one spot for valentine celebrating, my apartment. i was so happy to host a little love festival, including my darling nieces. thanks for coming! we ate, frosted cookies, told jokes and stories, played telephone, had a bubble blowing contest and twirled around with a freeze frame dance party. aren't dances always more fun when you have to hit a graceful pose when the music suddenly stops? or maybe it's just more fun for the adults watching. when there are five little girls under the age of six, a party goes from fun to fabulous.
we served a simple, light supper:
chicken salad sandwiches on french bread. pb & j's for the kiddies. pineapple slices. pasta salad. wavy potato chips. limeaids with bendy straws. and soft sugar cookies. frosted with custom deluxe designs. see below for our most creative concoctions.
happy valentines. xo.
