spring break
oh how i love taking my li'l country mouse to the big city. big plans. cheer loud when dan's skis cross the finish line. hang with mom and pops. benji's first swim. cable tv. visits with family (both sides). staying up late for movie nights. seeing my sistas. downtown strolls with whit. lunch bunch. lots of down time. scrapbook paper stores. cute cafes my mom always discovers. salt lake shops. cousin's club play dates. soaking in the sun & the snow. a big round chocolate chocolate dunford donut.

I wish I had a beautiful scene like that to drive around today. When I was 11 we went to SLC and the Wasatch for a ski trip. It was a week of bliss. Then we went back to Texas and I kept thinking the clouds were mountains (or rather, wishing). Gorgeous stuff!

oh how i love those utah skies & mountains. i'm in utah this week too and i'm loving it. although i love so many things about san francisco, the open sky here just seems bigger. have a fun trip! :)
