black, white and orange all over

now that halloween is creeping onto the shelves, i'm picking up and packaging up some items to send to friends next month. (who doesn't love sprinkles for pumpkin cut-out cookies?) thanks to those of you who have ordered a set of gift tags, they ship out today. i love decorating for holidays and am thinking i'll string some together for garlands to spook this place up in style.

p.s. i whipped up one of my all time favorite dessert bars to share at a church activity tonight. (i won't be telling the ladies that these li'l devils would definitely not make the 'eat this' category. which is specifically why i made them to share, to take them out of the house.) mmm. mmm. so dreamy & peanut butter perfect.

such a cute gift for a friend- and those tags are adorable!

and now my mouth is watering. I've been craving "Love bars" (only i don't call them love bars... but that's definitely a good name for them!) but because my oven is still broken it's more difficult to make them :) but, i think it's probably a good thing because then every time i saw a post like this i'd rush to the kitchen and start baking!

You're just the cutest & most inspiring girl around, Marta. And those love bars remind me of the kind we used to get for dessert in elementary school, way back when!

What a fun idea! Halloween gifts to neighbors might be a great alternative to an overload at Christmas goodies. Even Thanksgiving would be a fun, early holiday gifting season. Cute stuff, as always, Min!
