What a sweet giveaway - literally! :) Throw my name in the hat. This season, I am in love with all things pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin whoopies & cookies & cheesecake & bread...and I just found a pumpkin creme brulee recipe I'm dying to try. Will give me a good excuse to break out the torch I got for my wedding. Haven't touched it yet.

Thanks for the giveaway - & your awesome blog.

When I get married, I want a cupcakes for my cake. It is so Marie-Antoinette.

What I am baking for the holiday's is: of course, sugar cookies, little ginger-bread men and girls, and this year I want to try and make my own granola for gifts to co-workers and friends. School has made me very poor, so a home-made Christmas it is for me. :)

How fun! Let's see....

On regular days this holiday season, I hope to make lots of soups, and meals in the slow cooker. We all know why those rock in the fall/winter!

And for Christmas cookies, I hope to make spritz, snickerdoodles, peanut butter star cookies, krumkake, and maybe pbernodder if it ever gets cold enough!

Lena said...

Love this one Marta!

I have been a muffin baker like crazycakes this fall because my little bird love love loves them. Eight months and she is cramming the carbs down.

For Christmas gifties this year, I am going to do biscotti. I did some on a whim last year - pregnant and too tired to drop or roll many cookies - I did some biscotti and it was a hit!

Hannah said...

darling t's! i love them.

i plan on making some cranberry cookie bars this holiday season. so delish.

vixel said...

Gorgeous shirt!

Being English, we have our turkey at Christmas, so after a giant roast dinner we usually have cakes and baked yumminess for tea! I'll probably be making my chocolate mousse and perhaps some meuringues.

amber of theambershow said...

Oh no! I thought you needed a stretchy tee shirt for SOME OTHER reason! :p This is exciting, too. :)

Honestly, I haven't had time to plan out my holiday meals yet. I am still trying to use up the last of my CSA veggies, including a Smoked Paprika and Rutabaga Bisque we are having tonight.

I love the hamburger t-shirt!

Elizabeth said...

Darling!
This season: Pretzels dipped in carmel and rolled in nuts and choco chip (and pnut butter chips), yummy bars, sugar cookies, and maybe some chili or something so we don't all slip into a sugar enduced coma.

love, as usual, your give away. yay! let's see i made butternut squash risotto last night, oh my yummy. i know for a fact this holiday season my baking will definitely include learning to make houska, a czech braided bread which has been part of my life for-ev-er and my mom learned to make from my dad's dad before he passed away. so now its my turn to ensure the tradition continues. my mom was kind enough to ship one to us to ensure petey can have one on his first thanksgiving but i can't count on her kindness quite as freqently as i'd like this bread.

Thelma said...

All my usual treats are cooking in my kitchen: gingersnaps, sugar cookies, fudge. I love the t-shirt.

Stephanie said...

I'm always responsible for the homemade dinner rolls for every holiday meal, so those will definitely be baking in my oven. I'll probably make a few pies as well, plus all of my favorite Christmas cookies.

Lately my baking has been muffins for my boys, bread, and then also our "peach festival" we had for a week after we picked 60 lbs of peaches!! I made every peach dessert imaginable (pie, cobbler, bars, ice cream, etc.)

Cupcakes ARE the best, aren't they? This year, for the holidays, my sister and I are planning on taking over the kitchen and I'm absolutely terrified at what the result is going to look and taste like! It'll be a fun adventure, that's for sure. One filled with tons of laughs, new recipes, a big fat mess on the kitchen counter and memories that will surely last a lifetime. I can't wait.

I am wrestling with the idea of making a ton of sweets and building treat towers for our friends and families as gifts. Said towers would include: truffles, macaroons (because I have been dying to try them), cake dips (maybe apple cake dipped in caramel...), knock-off Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks, almond roca, caramel corn and why not? caramel.

- Almond Toffee
- The softest sugar cookies on the planet
- Peanut Butter Balls
- Poppyseed Bread with a delicious orange glaze.

Those are adorable! I'm lucky enough to be officially "responsible" for anything in the kitchen this year, so I get to have fun experimenting with an apple oven cake...sort of a twist on apple pie. Hopefully it's delicious!

This is my first time trying to win a blog giveaway but... there's always a first for EVERYTHING. :) It sure is a cute tee, nonetheless.

My favorite thing to cook for the holidays (get ready, it's not anything special), but the classic chocolate chip cookie. I love to poke at them while they're baking in the oven.. watching the goo turn into a delicious round helping of delight, haha.

This will be my first Christmas at my first apartment & I am very much looking forward to it.

Thanks for keeping such an awesome blog, Marta. It's a joy to read. :)

As usual, my kitchen will be filled with the aroma of baking cookies - lots of cookies of different sizes, shapes, and tastes. Always the old tried and true, and always some first-timers. :-) One year I made 28 different kinds, but this year I don't think I'll be that ambitious. Funny thing about the t-shirt: I have been toying with the idea of including some cupcakes this year, so having that darling shirt would be perfect.

Amazing giveaway - love all the designs.
