january calendar

better late than never.
click, save and print.

i have high hopes for today. i got a new haircut for the new year (it looks exactly the same to the untrained eye). i have a list of all the areas i want to organize. i also have a growing list of topics to blog about and projects to start. i shipped some mini diaries (i have eighteen still in stock, if you'd like one). and i have made a dent in project clean up. the unpacking, the laundry, taking down the christmas decor and my thank you note list are all halfway there. which means my house is in shambles. i did however manage to continue one of my resolutions to eat a hearty breakfast. i read that eggs are an excellent breakfast; providing stamina throughout the day and warding off hunger. today i made spinach quiche and threw in broccoli and red pepper bits too. i divided the mixture into little ramekins for individual happy meals. hip hip. i think i'm really ready now; let the month officially begin.

p.s. am starting a new category: printables. am hoping to create printable downloads galore this year for your convenience and creativity. if you have an idea, please email me.

I really like steel cut oatmeal (I use the quick cook steel cut oats from Trader Joe's) as a hearty breakfast - add some fruit and nuts, and it keeps me very full!

I am excited about printable downloads this year - makes me happy! Thanks for a lovely start to January.

Amen to eggs! Just a printable idea: garlands! I love them. Could you make cute flowers or other designs that I can print on card stock (maybe make it double sided), cut out, punch holes in and hang. Another idea (maybe this is silly) but some fun lists...since I know you love lists. Like, before going to bed reminders to hang on the bathroom mirror. I love all your inspiration!

Yay for printables, this one is perfect, I'll be linking. Hmm... I love labels, and goodies to print and add to my planner.

Yeaaaa you're back and blogging! I'm so excited. Whit just told me today you had a saying about an egg a day. Love the idea of the quiche in ramekins. How does that work? Do you freeze them? I'm all for being better with the breakfast thing this year. Love the idea.

As for printables I'm so excited! Printable quotes to print and frame. Sticky labels for gifts. Lists - I'm all about lists, would be fun to have a cute little template for them all....
