today's giveaway is from papersheep.

i like when things seem to have my name all over them.
who doesn't need a boat (or a truck) to drop off some thank yous?!
giving :: two pretty letterpress thank you cards
please comment today to enter to win.
tell me who you'd like to thank and why

thank you to the ever talented gina!

congratulations...
the winner is teri who comments, The Rolfing sisters. My 5th grade home room and reading teachers. They are what teachers are supposed to be. Not the flash of the Hollywood movies teachers (Stand and Deliver, Dead Poets Society, etc) but a good solid love of their students and love of teaching. They are both gone now and I so regret I never told them thank you.

For letting me have this time to rediscover myself, even though its the worst time to do this - financially speaking. Also my parents for helping me with househould projects like clearing out an entire basement full of the previous owners' junk.

I'd like to thank my best friend, who stood by waiting and available when I went through a really horrid self-centered phase. Even though I barely spoke to her for a year she had already forgiven me by the time I finally apologized, and our friendship is getting back on track.

My grandpa is in ICU right now with no idea of the world around him. He's beyond that now and we expect he'll pass any second. So whom I want to send a thank you card is to my grandma who is sitting by his side, holding the hand of the man she's been married to since she was fifteen years old and he twenty-five. My aunt says my grandma does not notice visitors as she just stares at him, waiting and watching.

Grandpa doesn't know it but I'm sure he'd like to tell Grandma thank you.
