how-to send an ice cream party in the mail

HOW-TO SEND AN ICE CREAM PARTY IN THE MAIL
by melanie of youaremyfave.com

What makes you happier than a little knock on the door and looking out to see a little surprise package on the stoop? Opening that surprise and realizing your friend just sent you an entire ice cream party! Here's how we do it...

Follow the ice cream in a jar instructions from City Cradle DesignsYes, it's possible to churn your own ice cream in a jar. Although the recipients will most likely just head to the super market for the already-made variety.

Gather up some fave toppings that won't melt all over the place. (Striped bags from Layer Cake Shop & sweet scoops from Sur La Table.)

Don't forget the ice cream scoop, spoons and jimmies.

And you can't leave out the hot fudge. Just include the dry ingredients of course and insert instructions to add evaporated milk.

It's not a party without decorations. Lanterns are a good way to go since they fold down nicely for shipping.

Gather it up and ship it off. You got yourself an ice cream party in a box!

Really fun idea! Of course, even the non-melting toppings would probably melt here in Phoenix. Still, that would sure make my day!
