mini diaries have arrived.

the autumn 2010 collection of mini diaries are finally prepped, packaged, prodded, pampered and available for purchase. hooray. i never intentionally coordinate the paperie for each batch, however they always seem to mingle so well together once they are printed and bound, which is why i love offering them in five packs. this is a typical party of five; a random sampler of darling diaries suitable for your besties. i think they even look pretty sitting on my gift shelf.


with every batch of mini diaries i create, i save one for my own personal use and vow to carry it around and write in it daily. my recent mini diary is pictured here with some other must-have essentials which i toss into my purse every morning with reckless abandon on our way to the playground.


i loved the whimsical colors and designs of this paperie and thought it would be mighty nice in the new youthful collection, suitable for (but not limited to) the younger generation. my two expert teenage assistants agreed. my niece sophie and her friend abby visited our place on their way to summer camp a few weekends ago. between homemade pizza, gummy bears and watching Dear John they helped sort my unbound diaries into two categories; sophisticated and youthful. they worked together and made up their minds quickly. (i definitely want to hire an intern someday and not just to watch cheesy chick flicks with.) before they left, sophie and abby chose their favorite diaries to take to camp and watched me bind them with ribbon. i was ever so grateful for their opinion on the matter, as all of the designs appeal to me.

every mini diary includes an opening page for you to practice your signature and declare ownership of your diary. i also love that most of the scrapbook paperie has a surprise design on the inside cover. if the little things in life don't thrill you, this diary is not for you. however, if you are eager to remember the details you never want to forget, to celebrate the details of your days, then please, jot your life in.
