hello again. we're back from our big camp out in yellowstone national park. it was an incredible little jaunt for our trio, especially because it was (mostly) uncharted territory for us. we went through bozeman, montana and into gorgeous yellowstone and home through grand teton national park in jackson hole, wyoming. apart from the amazing scenery, we saw buffalo (technically bison), a black bear (lumbering along the road while we were safely seat belted in vehicle), elk, wolves, and on the last night, giant snowflakes! it was quite the adventure.
at the moment i am doing laundry like a maniac, washing our cooler and mess kits with soapy water, putting everything back into its place, sorting / deleting 500+ photos (some of which i'll likely be sharing with you).
pictured here is me on our hike in grand teton park just yesterday. day four of our clothes smelling like campfire. that big smile on my face meant a warm shower and my very own bed was only a few hours away.
p.s. i just have to say thank you for the awesome comments about my blog-a-versary, the new penpal project and great sewing machine advice. i love coming home and sorting email. now back to my chores.
p.p.s. if you haven't already googled something today, you ought to check out their cleverness.
