i wanna curl up in a cozy bed of cocoa cups

i have high hopes that someday i can justify splurging on seasonal bedding. perhaps i'll even have a guest room by then! snow & graham, one of my favorite stationery companies, whipped up this steamy dreamy design. i imagine the cocoa cup sheets would be the perfect thing for a long winter's nap! do tell, how do you deck the halls in the bedrooms of your home?

cocoa cups flannel bedding at garnet hill.
it's even cuter up close.

I would love to curl up on a bed that is tucked away like this one! What a cute room!

i'm so bad about decorating anything but the main house rooms for the holidays. i'd love to hear what others have to say - cute ways to add seasonal decor to the kids room without putting something in there that is WAY too fun to play with that it distracts from naptime?

Oh my, that is adorable!! We are planning on adding a mini christmas tree with lights to replace Little Guy's nightlight for the month of December. Other than that... I need some fun ideas as well!

I let them make paper chains to decorate. And we have little trees for them to decorate as well. For an easy garland, use hot glue to connect the wrappers of red and white mint candies. (or I like to go to Walgreens and get the multi colored candies- more festive for the kids!)

I wish I could curl up in that room with some cocoa and a book. Love it!

LOL - I have this BRILLIANT idea that I'm going to make a Christmas quilt. A special holiday masterpiece that comes out just when the weather is getting nippy and stays through the first of the year. {ahem} And I've been buying fabric for this {ahem} BRILLIANT idea for, oh, many, many years. (10? 15?) Maybe it's time to stop thinking about the Christmas quilt project and DO the Christmas quilt project, don't you think? Because that would be just the loveliest holiday decoration for the bedroom! {blissful sigh}
