party animal.

hello again! i'm home from summer camp ALT summit conference and have recaps galore to post. i met amazing people, mingled with favorite bloggers, took tips from the experts and wore glasses with the girls with glasses. and borrowed melanie's (from you are my fave) black banana republic dress for the occasion. how sweet is she?! it was such a refreshing crazy change from my routine-of-a-life. exactly the inspiration and insights i needed. (i have a notebook full of wild writing.) i expected all the awesome bloggers in one building. i did not expect them to be so approachable and friendly, open for conversation and hugs. i did not expect them to be so hilarious and simultaneously stylish, nor did i expect to convince a group of out-of-towners to come to Dee's Family Restaurant for a midnight hot cocoa and chit chat! thank you, ladies.

a favorite weekend ever. not to mention, a saturday luncheon (and thrifting) with my sisters, dinner with my bff, and a lot of hanging out with my cute mom. (in the meantime my better halves, dan and benji rocked a half marathon event. yay!) it was definitely a must-remember-all-of-this event. i have a bunch of new blogs to subscribe to, loads of laundry, unpacking and rifling through new business cards to do. plus milk and eggs to buy. stay tuned, recaps and more silly photos to come.

You, Stephanie and Karey had the best panel by far. None of us who were there could stop talking about it. the energy surround the three of you was so infectious. I think we all walked away stunned and moved. So thank you for that!

One of the highlights of my ALT experience was listening to the wise words of your panel ~ I'm a huge fan of all three of you ladies who shared your tips on personal stories! And you are so darn cute as pie in person!

yaaaaaay! welcome home, mart!! i had prepared myself to be jealous of the alt awesomeness, but wow. i am overcome with envy.. it sounds so ridiculously dreamy!! how fabulous to meet all the girls behind the blogs, and find that they are real girls just like us:) that is the best feeling. i'm sure you were a superstar on your panel (ahhhh! i can't wait to hear more) and made lots of people's days just by smiling at them. in real life. oh to have been there!

Fantastic to hear you had a great time, I loved looking at the photos on Flickr and had come across your ones here earlier today - what a brilliant photo booth. You never would have got me in the room though because I have a phobia of balloons (crazy I know) but I would have so desperately wanted the Kate Spade swag!
