Just read your blog for the first time. I love the crisp, clean feeling of your layout. Read your post on Blogging and Jealousy -- so entertaining and honest. Just started blogging myself, so this advice is welcome!

Sounds like such a perfect weekend :) I cried my eyes out reading the Time Travelers Wife- but who doesn't love a good cry for a book or movie.

Can I just tell you how much I love this post, Marta? Love, love, love it! So summery and relaxed and happy. And who doesn't adore a lemonade stand?

Are you reading The Time Traveler's Wife for the first time? I think I might like to re-read it this summer. It's that good.

Hope the week ahead is as good as the weekend that's just ending!

Love the happy summery feel of this post. Those pancakes look so good. I am going to wow my kids with those next time we have breakfast for dinner.

Congrats to Dan on the MS ride and that is my kind of lemonade stand. I am looking for a good summer read (nothing that requires my brain) for an upcoming vacation. Do you recommend Time Traveler's wife?

I saw all the bikers this weekend and actually thought of you from last year's ride! Wish I would've spotted you and met you in person. I live riiiiiiiiiiight by the fairgrounds. Oh well, maybe next time huh? Glad it was a good weekend!

You've asked for blog post suggestions before... I was wondering if maybe you could write one about break-ups? How to get through them? I'm 21 and I bet a lot of your readers are around the same age and I'm sure we've all had broken hearts. I'd like to read some tips from you!

We are such a pancake house! We've done chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, chocolate chip chunks and M&M's. Our toppings have included syrup (no longer used by the kids), frosting, powdered sugar, cinnamon and whipped cream. On special occasions, I use cookie cutters to cutout holiday shapes in the pancakes. We eat them almost every day and I sometimes worry that there is no nutritional value in my daughters' breakfasts. We do have chocolate soy milk with the meal, so I'm hoping some protein gets in there somewhere.

omgsh! I had those same sheets when I was little! I loved picking out my favorite cars and trucks after my mom put me to bed.

those plates are wonderful. i think it's things like that that make homes seem home-y.
also love the photos of your little guy. i think mine is still running on a parallel track. racetrack, that is. :)

The Time Travelers Wife is amazing! I read it on a trip I took to Japan to visit family. I couldn't put it down, especially since the book was written about a couple that live on my street!

Hip Mamas Lemonade! It's a weekly staple in our house during farmer's market season. We LOVE it. My son counts down during the winter until lemonade time! And...you were in Logan! I hope you had a fabulous time!
