happy leap day! today is the last day for the ultra awesome sale on my blog & business workbook download. get the super secret discount code right here. spring is in the air. i am busting out my spring short sleeves, colorful cardigans (and maternity wear) and putting away the chunky sweaters (which i may regret come march). and the other day, on my trip to home depot for paint liners and purdy rollers, i discovered potted ranunculus blooms (a whole rainbow of options!) for under three bucks. i snagged a bright yellow one for the kitchen. better than a slurpee! and i love slurpees.

hope you have a fantastic leap day. we'll be doing the usual; curious george, storytime at the library and piling mounds of sweaters on the bed for storage.

and admiring the new bathroom. you guys, it looks so good. i'm so proud of us. it's not perfect, but it's perfect for me. you shoulda seen it; two pregnant bellies, a huge ladder and tons of plastic wrap in one tiny bathroom. and hopes not to step in the paint. guess who ended up with paint in hair, face and clothes? and guess who was clean as a whistle?! yeah,  i guess i'm a bit more messy expressive. other than one purple patch still showing behind the toilet (a surprise for anyone who happens to be vomiting), the walls are like fresh buttery cream. i almost went back in to touch that spot up, but it makes me happy and will remind me of our project and that shade of lilac. so it's staying. i'll show you the before and afters when it's all said and done (am still waiting on the artwork).

Congratulations on finishing your bathroom! I'm excited to see what artwork you have chosen - your choices are always inspiring.
I adore rananculus' & couldn't resist buying a pack of bulbs today in the hope that my tiny garden might be able to bloom its very own patch of these beautiful paper-like flowers this Summer. I love that the meaning behind 'rananculus' is 'radiant with charm' - perfectly sums up their beauty. Enjoy the radiant charm that yours bring to your home : )

Ranunculus are my absolute favorite flower!! And you mentioning the potted beauties happily reminded me of my sweet hubby buying those for me last year! Can't wait to see picctures of the bathroom. I especially love the secret little leftover patch of purple!

Happy Leap Day Marta. I am at the "bumping into things pregnant belly phase too" So fun - but then the fron of my shirt looks a mess by the end of the day.

I love ranunculus. My favorite flowers ever.

New wall colors are always fun. Can't wait to see the finished room. The little left spot is awesome.

Thank you for the tip on ranunculus at Home Depot! I ran over there myself today and was able to bring some colorful cheer to a few friends before the blizzard hit. Love that.

Funnily enough Ranunculus are my favoutite flower too .. lol ;) Have you tried growing them from bulb rather than buying the ready potted ones. With a little care and foresight they are really easy to grow either in the garden or in pots. Good luck :)
