You have the best giveaways! Lisa's work is amazing and would be great to pass down. Thanks!

I was excited to get my grandma's copy of Charlotte's Web and we've read it several times to our boys.

Love love love your blog, and I love Lisa Leonard's jewelry designs.

I inherited a plaque that used to hang in my grandmother's kitchen - now it hangs in mine and makes me feel happy and rooted every time I see it.

I have my Grandma Campbell's dressing set-a silver brush and mirror engraved with a "C". She was so kind to let my cousins and I play with them when we were little (and even sneak a squirt of her signature 'White Diamonds' perfume!). I treasure those memories and look forward to passing them on to the next generation.

Many years ago my grandmother gave me the locket that she wore while my grandfather was over seas during World War two. It is a link to a couple that I love so very much and to a love that made it through some tough times.

I have a lovely hand made slip that my mother inherited from her aunt and now passed on to me. Not only is the slip hand made but so is the amazing lace. What a lovely little treasure!

My mom gave me a pearl ring that my grandmother gave her. If I have a daughter one day, I'll pass it on.

There are also a few things my mom made or got for me when I was a baby that I'd love to see in my little one's nursery.

My great grandmother hand embroidered and hand stitch my bedding when I was a baby and toddler. I still have all the blankets and pillows that were made. My daughter loves to feel the stitching and hearing the story behind each piece. She has used most of the items herself. When my baby has her baby I plan on passing down all these lovely items.

I inherited my grandmother's ring. She had it turned into a cocktail ring when she and my grandpa got divorced, but we had it re-made (with her permission) into a wedding ring. A grandmother's love is much stronger than anything that passed between her and my grandfather, and it's perfect for us.

I am lucky enough to have both my mother and grandmother still with me so I don't have a lot of keepsake type treasures...however, I do have a lovely little wooden jewelry box that my mother received at her high school graduation to keep my own treasures in :)

I am going to inherit a ring from my Nana who passed away this past December. I haven't gotten it yet, but we are doing a # drawing with all the grand-daughters, so whoever gets #1 gets to have first dibs on a ring. Since I am the only one who lives far away- like out of state. They are going to e-mail me the pix and then call me when they do the drawings. I am so glad that my aunt is including my in such a special way. I will feel truly best to have a piece of my Nana with me always!

Several years ago my grandmother gave me the quilt that my great grandmother made specifically for her bed when she was a young girl. I just moved. Once I get settled it will be on my own bed. The love that went into each hand-stitched hexagon now connects five generations. While my son may appreciate it, I have a feeling that I will one day have a granddaughter who will appreciate it more.

I have a porcelin box from China that my mother bought me on a trip to China which was the last gift that she gave me before she died. It's something I would like to pass down to my daughters. Love Lisa Leonard - I have one of her necklaces with my girls initials on it (but I would love MORE of her stuff since it's lovely).

my great aunt always made a green bean salad for thanksgiving and presented it in a delicate flower bowl year after year. one thanksgiving i told her that i wanted to write my name on the bottomof the dish so that when she finally went to heaven i would have her 'green bean bowl' to remember her by. the next day my doorbell rang & it was aunt ellie - alive and well with the clean bowl in her hands. she wanted me to have it now so would think of her daily. she as long since passed away but the bowl with many wonderful memories lies on!
