note: thanks to blushing apples, i've been enlightened! today is miss audrey's birthday!! how lovely, her birthday has landed on an Audrey Friday. what a classy lady to participate in the celebration. she was born may 4, 1929, a day that changed us all for the better, if not simply the meaning of the words little, black & dress. i love audrey because of her simple yet stunning style, her feminine grace, perfect poise, and glowing confidence. why do you love the luminous audrey? {ali, what a special thing to share a birthday with the one, the only. i couldn't think of anyone more worthy my dear!!}

and a very happy birthday to miss ali. the girl who opened my eyes to the beautiful thing called blogging. she has talent dripping like diamonds. this girl is one hip child who brings sunshine into every room and spreads it into all the nooks & crannies. i love everything about her. she is warm and kind and has a style all her own. she is the most fun to talk to because she is genuine. (her wedding garden party was one of the most fun nights ever. magical glittery lights strung across the dance floor, sea green sweets layered in large glass jars for the scooping, a flower in the hair.. she is a girl who pays attention to detail, which gets me right at the heart.) her words are a wonder. they can bring you to tears, even if the subject is a silly beloved tv show, the OC. ali, you light up our lives. {for those of you who haven't had the pleasure.. i think this photo exudes the essence.}
